Sheikh Hasina's resignation statement is false: Joy

Her son Sajib Wazed Joy said that Sheikh Hasina has not made any statement before leaving Dhaka and after leaving Dhaka after resigning from the post of Prime Minister. His claim – Sheikh Hasina’s statement about her resignation is false and fabricated.

He said this in a message from his Verified X (formerly Twitter) account at 11:55 pm on Sunday.

Sajib Wazed Joy wrote, ‘A statement about my mother’s resignation has been published in a newspaper, which is completely false and fabricated. I confirmed by talking to her (Sheikh Hasina) a little while ago. He has not given any statement before leaving Dhaka or after leaving Dhaka.

Sheikh Hasina’s government fell on August 5 in the face of the student movement. He left the country and took refuge in India. He is currently staying in India.

Meanwhile, since Sheikh Hasina left the country, Wazed Joy has been very active on social media. He is also giving interviews one after another in international and local media of India.

Recently, Sajib Wazed Joy said that Sheikh Hasina will return to the country when the election is announced. Awami League will participate in the election and win. He even indicated that he was ready to start politics.
