10 more cases have been registered against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for murder and attempted murder across the country including the capital Dhaka. Out of this, 4 cases have been registered in Dhaka, 3 in Gazipur, 1 in Savar and 2 in Sonarganj of Narayanganj.
The cases were registered at DMP’s Mohammadpur, Adabar, Jatrabari and Kadmatoli police stations on Thursday night. Relatives of those killed in the anti-discrimination movement filed these cases at the police station.

Murder case of Kishore Naim in Jatrabari Police Station: Kamrul Islam, father of the deceased Kishore Naim Howlader, filed a murder case against Sheikh Hasina in Jatrabari Police Station. In this case, 193 people including Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader have been named and 250-300 people have been named as defendants. Savar: A case of murder has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and Obaidul Quader in connection with the shooting death of a student named Abdul Ahad Saikat (17) in Savar, Dhaka. Nazrul Islam, father of deceased student Saikat, filed the case at Savar Model Police Station late on Thursday night. Saikat’s home is in North Digalkandi village of Sonatala police station in Bogra. He was studying in Class XI in Dhaka Commerce College. In the case of Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Mohammad Arafat, Dr. Enamur Rahman has also been accused.
Sonargaon (Narayanganj): Two separate cases have been registered in connection with the shooting death of Shafiq Mia and Ashiq Mia in Kanchpur of Sonargaon upazila on the Dhaka-Sylhet highway. Shafiq Mia’s cousin Abu Hanif and Ashiq Mia’s mother Kulsoom Begum filed two cases as defendants on Thursday night.
