Rahul Gandhi's claim: China occupies an area equal to Delhi's in Ladakh

China has occupied an area the size of Delhi in India’s Union Territory of Ladakh. This is what Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the country’s opposition and Indian National Congress, has claimed.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not managed China well due to which Chinese troops have occupied an area of 4,000 square kilometers in Ladakh equal to the size of New Delhi. He also said that this is a disaster situation.

Rahul said this in an interview with reporters at the National Press Club in Washington DC on Tuesday. Indian media Times of India and Hindustan Times reported this information in separate reports on Wednesday.

Rahul complained that no information about this is published in the Indian media. Even the media in India does not like to publish information about it.

He also said, if a neighbor occupies 4000 square kilometers of your territory, can any president get away with saying that he has governed the country well? I don’t think PM Modi has handled China well. Besides, I think there is no reason for Chinese troops to sit on our territory.

Rahul Gandhi also said that the sad thing is that the Prime Minister of India said in the opposition meeting that no one has occupied even an inch of land in the country. This is a blatant lie. Everyone in Ladakh knows that the land of Ladakh has been occupied by China. The Prime Minister is not telling the truth.

Meanwhile, after Rahul’s statement in New Delhi, BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Rahul’s statement is completely wrong. Instead, the Chinese troops escaped from Galwan because of the bravery and self-sacrifice of the Indian troops.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had made a similar complaint last year. He made this complaint at a public meeting in Kargil at the end of a nine-day visit to Ladakh.

Earlier last Sunday, Rahul Gandhi commented that India, the United States and other countries in the West are facing unemployment problems, but unemployment is not high in China. Because the country is dominating global production.

Stating that there is no shortage of skills in India, he said that if India starts improving itself in the manufacturing sector, it will be able to compete with China. Rahul made a four-day private visit to the United States. His visit ended on Tuesday.
