However, India claims that China has named Arunachal Pradesh as Jangnan, claiming it as its own territory.
In April this year, China announced the new names of 30 more districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Earlier, in 2017, 2021 and 2023, China named different areas of Arunachal as their own three times.
