India-US trade talks in Washington ‘constructive’, New Delhi says

NEW DELHI, April 24 (Reuters) – Meetings between the ​Indian delegation that ‌visited Washington this week and U.S. officials ​were held ​in a “constructive and positive ⁠manner”, with market ​access, non-tariff measures, ​and technical barriers to trade among the issues ​taken up, India’s ​trade ministry said on ‌Friday.

The ⁠delegation was in the U.S. to hold meetings aimed ​at finalizing ​the ⁠countries’ interim trade agreement ​and taking forward ​negotiations ⁠under the broader trade pact, it ⁠said.
