BSF trying to create unrest in West Bengal: Mamata

The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) is trying to create unrest by illegally infiltrating the border of West Bengal, the state’s Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has alleged.
She said, we have information that the BSF is bringing in infiltrators through the Islampur, Chopra, and Sitai borders. They are torturing women. But why is there no protest from your (Center) side?
Mamata Banerjee made these comments at an administrative review meeting held at the state government’s secretariat, Nabanna, on Thursday (January 2).
Calling for peace on both sides of the border, the Chief Minister said, “We want peace there (in Bangladesh) and peace here too. We do not have bad relations between the two Bengals. We speak one language in both Bengals, we walk in one language. Someone can come to Kolkata for medical treatment, someone can come here for humanitarian reasons.”
At this time, Mamata accused the Modi government, saying that goons are actually being sent here. People are being smuggled across the border. This is a very internal work of the BSF. There is a blueprint of the central government in this. I have repeatedly told the central government that we support whatever decision the central government takes in foreign policy. But if I see that someone is supporting terrorist attacks to destabilize my state, then we will have to protest.
Mamata Banerjee also warned that she will write a strong letter to the center on this issue. According to her, some may think that they will defame the Trinamool Congress by infiltrating West Bengal. But I will say that the Trinamool Congress is not doing this. Because they do not have any right or ability to do so. The responsibility of border security is not in the hands of the Trinamool, it is done by the BSF. I want complete information. I will write a strong letter to the center on this.
At this time, Mamata instructed the state police DG Rajiv Kumar, who was sitting next to her, to identify the places through which infiltration is taking place. Border security is not in our hands, it is in the hands of the BSF. Visas are also not in our hands, it is in the hands of the central government. Earlier, a list of those who came by plane was given to the state. But now it is not given. Due to this, we cannot know who is coming?
