France has reduced the price of 26 Rafale marine jets for India

France announced the final price of 26 Rafale marine jets to India. They set the Rafale price just before National Security Adviser Ajit Doval’s visit to France. Citing the Defense Ministry, news agency ANI said, Emmanuel Macron’s country has agreed to reduce the price after talks between the two sides. However, the information about how much money the contract is being made has not been disclosed yet.

India is buying 26 Rafale Marine Jets from France. These warplanes will be deployed at various naval bases including the warship INS Vikrant. French government and Dassault company officials are coming to India last week to finalize the deal. Discussions took place between the two countries in Delhi. Only then does France announce the final price.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval is going to Paris on September 30. He will meet with the National Security Adviser of France. The meeting is supposed to discuss the final price of the Rafale Marine Jet.

Incidentally, the Indian Navy has focused on increasing its strength at sea. India has also requested some changes to the Rafale marine jets in the deal. It is said to add country-made radar. It will take about 8 years. France will also cost much more. Apart from this, India has also requested to add indigenous weapons. These include the Rudram anti-radiation missile and the Astra visual range missile.
