A Bengaluru court ordered an FIR to be filed against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Allegations of embezzlement through electoral bonds have been brought against him.

A man named Adarsh Iyer made the complaint on behalf of the Janadhikar Sanksha Sanganthan of Karnataka. The court gave such an order in view of that complaint on Saturday.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has demanded Nirmala’s resignation from the Union Cabinet. It is learned that the allegations are not only against Nirmala. Adarsh filed a complaint against BJP All India President JP Nadda, Karnataka BJP leaders Nalinkumar Katil and BY Vijayendra.

He alleges that corporate bodies were forced to buy electoral bonds worth crores of rupees under the pressure of a probe by the ED, implicating national and state leaders of the BJP. And with that, he accused Nirmala along with the leaders of the BJP camp.

On the other hand, after the allegations were made, the BJP came to the fore. BJP claims that these allegations are politically motivated. Electoral bonds are a policy issue, not a criminal one.
