Sri Lankan President not notified about new SLC interim committee
President Ranil Wickremesinghe who was angered by the sudden move is expected to discuss this with Roshan Ranasinghe during the cabinet meeting this evening.
COLOMBO (Daily Mirror) – A possible split has erupted between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and his Sports Minister Roshan Ranasinghe after the President was not notified about Ranasinghe’s new Interim Committee appointed to Sri Lanka Cricket.
Earlier today a new Interim Committee led by Arjuna Ranathunga was appointed, suspending the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. The names were gazetted by the Sports Ministry.
