Tensions with the US have ended: Bangladesh's foreign adviser

The foreign advisor of Bangladesh thinks that the tension between Bangladesh and the United States has ended. Touhid Hossain. He said that the previous government had an unnecessary tension with the United States. After the interim government took over, the tension was resolved.

He said this in response to questions from journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday afternoon.

When asked which country has the warmest and coldest relations since the interim government took over, the foreign affairs adviser did not give a direct answer. However, he talked about Bangladesh’s relationship with the United States.

Tauhid Hossain said that there was a little tension with the United States during the last government. As we all know, there is no point in denying. I think that thing is gone. We have a policy, we want to have good relations with everyone, in that case the unnecessary tension with the United States was a violation of this policy, which we managed to correct.
