US National Security Advisor’s call to Chief Advisor, what happened

US National Security Advisor Jack Sullivan spoke to Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor to the Interim Government of Bangladesh, over the phone.

In the phone call, the US National Security Advisor thanked the Chief Advisor for leading Bangladesh during challenging times.

It said that Sullivan had a phone call with the head of the Interim Government of Bangladesh. During this time, they expressed their commitment to respecting and protecting the human rights of all people regardless of religion or race.

The White House statement also said that Jack Sullivan reiterated US support for a prosperous, stable and democratic Bangladesh. He mentioned the continued support of the United States in addressing the challenges that Bangladesh will face.
