Asif Ali Zardari invited the Iranian President to visit Pakistan
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ibrahim Raisi, has been invited by President Asif Ali Zardari to visit Pakistan.
He extended this invitation during a telephone conversation on Thursday.
In the phone conversation, President Zardari said that Islamabad is committed to increasing relations and cooperation with neighboring Iran. At this time, he congratulated the president, government and people of Iran on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
President Zardari assured that Pakistan will work closely with its neighbor Iran in all areas of bilateral interest and further strengthen relations.
The Pak President mentioned that the exchange of information between Iran and Pakistan needs to be strengthened to deal with the security challenges on the border of the two countries.
In addition, President Zardari expressed concern and condemned the barbaric aggression of the Zionist Israel on Gaza and called for the immediate implementation of a ceasefire there.
