Dubai visas are being canceled for Indians

Indians are having to cancel their trip to Dubai even after booking hotels and buying flight tickets.
They are facing problems due to the stricter rules imposed by the United Arab Emirates administration regarding tourist visas. Many Indians are also getting their visas canceled one after another.
According to statistics, earlier 99 percent of Dubai visa applications were approved. But now the situation has changed. In many cases, visa applications are being rejected even after providing all the necessary documents, according to Indian media.
The United Arab Emirates government has recently imposed new and strict rules for Dubai tourist visas. The new rules state that tourists will have to submit their hotel booking details and return flight tickets at the time of visa application.
Not only that, if someone is staying with a relative or friend or acquaintance in Dubai, then all the information of that person will have to be submitted.
The Times of India report says that earlier one to two percent of visa applications were canceled. But now the number of visa cancellations has increased. Now, out of 100 tourist applications, five to six visas are being rejected every day.
Nikhil Kumar, an official of a tourism agency, said that visa applications are being rejected despite having confirmed flight tickets and hotel bookings. As a result, many are facing financial problems. Because tourists have to pay not only the visa application fee, but also for flight tickets and hotel bookings.
According to the new rules of the Emirates administration, it is not enough to provide details of flight tickets and hotel bookings. Travelers will have to prove that they have enough money to stay in Dubai. If they want to stay in a hotel, then they must have a minimum of 50 thousand taka in their bank account. The applicant will have to submit a copy of the last three months’ bank statements and PAN card along with the visa application form.
