Maldives receives Nihon Kohden ventilators and G-5 monitors from Japan
According to STO, the products will help to enhance the quality of medical services provided in the Maldives
Male: STO (State Trading Organisation) has introduced ventilators and G-5 monitors from Nihon Koden, one of Japan’s most popular brands in the healthcare industry.
STO held a special ceremony on Sunday evening, August 13, at Crossroads Maldives to launch the products. The event was graced by Japanese Ambassador to the Maldives, Takeuchi Midori.
STO said the newly introduced brand can be fully utilized in every hospital department including the intensive care unit (ICU) and operating theater. STO initiated a specialized training program for doctors and nurses, aiming to familiarize them with the products. This program is scheduled to continue until August 16.
During the program, participating doctors and nurses will receive information about the features and user manuals of the newly introduced products. They will gain the knowledge on how to effectively utilize the equipment to provide care for patients with various medical conditions.
