Modi and Mamata engaged in a war of words
In the northern districts of West Bengal, there is a storm of election campaigning. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Trinamool leader Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee lashed out at each other in an election rally just a few hours apart and just a few kilometers apart on Thursday (April 4).
At the election meeting in Mathabhanga, Cooch Behar at 1 pm on this day, Mamata strongly attacked the BJP by saying that ‘cute snakes can be trusted, not BJP’.
He said, BJP is planning to keep him in detention camp by CAA. Due to political vendetta, Modi government has also denied fair dues.
Modi dismissed Mamata’s allegation and on the contrary criticized Trinamool as corrupt. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister of India said in the election meeting at the Ras Mela ground in Cooch Behar.
The Trinamool government is not allowing the implementation of the Centre’s projects. Attempts are being made to mislead in the name of CAA. This law will ensure the citizenship of all.
Rahul submitted the nomination
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has filed his nomination papers from Kerala’s Venad Lok Sabha seat. On Wednesday (April 3), Rahul, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi and other senior party leaders including AICC general secretary KC Venugopal, submitted his nomination papers to the Waynar district collector.
After filing the papers, he recited the oath to uphold the Constitution, ending the nomination process.
Rahul reached Wayanad by air in the morning and held a road show from Kalpetta to Civil Station. Then reach the District Collector’s office to submit the nomination.
The country’s media claimed that Rahul’s wealth in 2019 was Tk 15 crore. This time it has increased to about 20. Although he claimed to have Rs 55,000 in cash now.
