People’s sympathy for Imran Khan increased by being in jail: PLM-N leader
Rather than being convicted, public sympathy for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan has grown. This happened because of being in jail.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah made these comments in a recent interview with Sama TV’s program ‘Mere Sawal with Munib Farooq’.
Reacting to Imran Khan on Saturday, Sanaullah said the PTI founder has earned sympathy instead of being convicted.
He also mentioned that ‘Imran Khan has the ability to maintain public support despite his convictions’.
In an interview with Sama TV, Sanaullah reiterated his views on Imran Khan’s political tactics. He also pointed out that Imran Khan aimed to wipe out the political existence of his opponents.
Sanaullah criticized the government for handling cases like the May 9 incident in Pakistan and alleged inadequate action against the accused.
