Petition to oust Kejriwal rejected

The Supreme Court of India has rejected the plea to remove Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi.

The apex court said, ‘legally it is not possible to accept this plea. In this way no Chief Minister can be removed from the post. Only the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi can take that decision. We cannot interfere.’

Supreme Court Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Duttar Division Bench dismissed the case filed by lawyer named Kant Bhati.
